Established in 1978, Camp Duckadang set in the upper reaches of the Brisbane River is one of Southern Queensland Lions’ most recognisable facilities to promote activities of the International Association of Lions Club in Youth Exchange, Road Safety, Sight Conservation and Welfare, Community Service and International Understanding and Co-operation.
Facilities
Originally a farming property, Camp Duckadang accommodates 90 people with overflow options and boasts spacious lightly-wooded land to explore and a large variety of wildlife to see.
- Camp Duckadang is broken in to three separate cabin groupings
- Each grouping has multi-bed student rooms equipped with separate bathroom facilities
- Away from the cabins , there is a self-contained house which accommodates up to 8 people with kitchen and lounge
- Hard stands to accommodate caravans
- And there’s also the option of sleeping out under the stars
